Welcome to the website for the Children's Ministries of Mountain View United Methodist Church in Kingsport, TN. Our Children’s Ministries seeks to lay the foundation for the spiritual formation of children through Sunday School classes, mid-week programming, seasonal programs (All-Saints Day, Advent, Lent, VBS), mission opportunities, children’s worship service, children’s choir support, children activities for church-wide events and intergenerational activities for the whole church family. There are four age-appropriate Sunday school classes from 3-year-olds to 5th grade and a multi-age mid-week program in Cross Club. We offer a Children’s Church worship program every Sunday except Communion Sunday and fellowship opportunities for the children with a snack supper prior to choir practice. Our intergenerational activities provide an opportunity for the entire congregation to nurture, teach, and support the body of Christ. Infants and toddlers enjoy the love and care of our nursery staff and volunteers during Christian education opportunities and during our worship services.
